Welcome from the Head of School
Welcome to the Yew Tree School website!
Yew Tree Community School is situated area in Aston close to the Witton Road.
We value the strong partnership we have built up with our families over many years. Through this strong partnership, we aim to ensure every child receives an excellent education.
Our school aims to “inspire” a passion for learning and success in all that we do, and together with parents, and carers, each and every child is encouraged to follow this principle. We believe that to prepare children for the future, they are entitled to the best standards in education, combined with excellent pastoral care to ensure that all children fulfil their potential.
We are very proud of our school and everyone has a part to play in its success. Yew Tree has welcoming classrooms, is very well resourced and has an excellent staff team who use their expertise to extend the learning experiences of all pupils both in the classroom and in a range of extra-curricular clubs, trips and experiences.
Our broad and balanced curriculum is creative and fun and is taught through exciting projects both inside and outside of the classroom. We regularly have visitors into school to bring learning to life. We also have a range of experts, such as music teachers and dance teachers to further enhance children’s learning.
We have a dedicated staff team, committed to developing the knowledge, skills and understanding which will enable our children to enjoy learning and achieve success. We work closely with families to enable this to happen, as we recognise the positive contribution that a collaborative approach can achieve.
Please do get in touch with us for further information. If you are a parent/carer at the school you can request paper copies of the content on the website free of charge.
