Message from the Head of School

Dear parents and carers,

As we approach the end of another successful academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a year filled with growth, achievements, and many memorable moments. I am incredibly proud of our children, staff, and the entire school community for everything we’ve accomplished together.

As we reflect on the past year and look forward to the next, I am filled with optimism and excitement. I feel very fortunate to be in a role I love, supported by a dedicated and passionate team committed to our children’s success. The milestones we've celebrated, the challenges we've encountered, and the progress we continue to make all contribute to the vibrant, nurturing learning environment we are proud to foster at Yew Tree Community School.

Your ongoing engagement and support are central to everything we do, and we are sincerely grateful to all our families for being such a vital and positive part of our school community.

On behalf of everyone at Yew Tree Community School, I wish you a safe, happy, and restful summer holiday—hopefully with plenty of sunshine! Enjoy time with family and friends, make special memories, and return refreshed for the new school year.

We look forward to welcoming all our children back in September for another exciting year of learning and growth.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Mrs Adams

Goodbye, Year 6!
To our departing Year 6 pupils, we wish you every success as you move on to secondary school. You have been an important part of our community, and we are confident you are well-prepared for the exciting new challenges ahead. We will miss you and hope you carry many fond memories of your time at Yew Tree with you!

Summer Fayre

The Summer Fayre was a wonderful celebration, bringing families, staff, and the wider community together for a meaningful cause. We have raised lots of money for our children’s enrichment days, which is a fantastic achievement, and the variety of activities—from the bouncy castle to mehndi—made the day truly special. It’s amazing what teamwork and dedication can accomplish!
