Dear Parents/ Carers,

I am writing to you to inform you of the outcome of the nominations for the parent member position on the local governing body.

One nomination was received for the parent member position on the local governing body from Mrs Sanam Sajid.

Therefore, an election will not need to be held.

There is still one vacancy for the role of parent member on the local governing body.

Congratulations to Mrs Sanam Sajid; we look forward to continuing to work with her in her role as parent member of the LGB.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Julie Adams

Head of School

NHS guidelines: Is my child too ill for school?

Coughs and colds

Coughs and colds are common at this time of year.

It's fine to send your child to school with a minor cough or common cold. If they have a fever, keep them off school until the fever goes.

Encourage your child to throw away any used tissues and to wash their hands regularly.

Sore throats

You can still send your child to school if they have a sore throat; however, if they also have a high temperature, they should stay at home until it goes away.

Vomiting/ diarrhoea

Children with vomiting or diarrhoea should stay away from school until they have not been sick or had diarrhoea for at least 2 days (48 hours).
